Photographer and Social Media Manager

The following position at Maintain is a combination of a photographer and social media manager. Whoever is hired for this position will be responsible for the tasks of both descriptions.

Candidate Description

Maintain is a lot of exciting, dynamic things. Mostly, we’re fast-moving, forward-thinking, and fun. As a candidate for this position, we’ll look to you for the following:

  • Create concept boards, shot lists, storyboards, wardrobe/prop lists, and any other guidelines for each client shoot
  • Work in tandem with the Content Strategist and Creative Director to create and execute interesting and dynamic multimedia strategies for each client
  • Act as Maintain’s primary photographer for internal and client shoots
  • Edit all photos in accordance with client branding, guidelines, and goals
  • Participate in daily agency communications on Slack and Zoom as needed
    • Respond to or acknowledge all communications to you within 30 minutes of receiving them
  • Participate in weekly Monday morning meetings with the entire Maintain team
  • Scouts and brainstorms photoshoot locations for both clients and Maintain
  • Sets up and tears down photography equipment
  • Will edit differently based off each individual client
  • Engage on social media for clients
  • Will understand analytical data that pertains to social media
  • Will help with monthly and weekly reporting
  • Will schedule out monthly client content
  • Create social media calendars and strategies
  • Research relative news, etc. to the marketing industry and social media channels
  • Inbound & social media certified
  • Lightroom editing
  • Will go on location to capture footage for reels and tiktoks
  • Will edit and posts reels and tiktoks in tandem with posting a full social media calendar

Position Requirements

  • Proficiency in:
    • Lightroom
    • Photoshop
    • Google Drive
  • Fully understands how to use a camera
  • Be willing to drive to client shoots within 1.5 hour radius of Saint Petersburg, Fl
  • Has a portfolio of photos
  • Experience in social media analytics
  • A portfolio of social media management for clients in different industries
  • Experience with social media engagement
  • Attention to detail
  • Works well in a collaborative environment


This is a part time entry level position.

  • Employee must be local to St. Pete (if not, the position will be a 1099 or freelance position with no benefits)
  • If employee is local, they will be hired on as a part time salaried or hourly employee with benefits such as healthcare reimbursement and parking reimbursement
