Hey! So, before we get into coffee, tell us a little about yourself.
“Hey There! I’m Eddie, the Director of Digital Strategy here for Maintain. I’m the one that’s going to be handling the creation of your website and digital needs, including emails, newsletters, ads and blogs. Having majored in Entrepreneurship, I’m obsessed with small businesses and believe a growth mindset can overcome just about any challenge. Originally I’m from Alaska, so between the local first atmosphere and all the perks of a larger city I truly believe that the only thing St. Pete is missing are some mountains. I’m an avid sports fan, proud Dog Dad (even though they’re monsters) and lover of all kinds of adventures. On my off days I’m most likely riding Space Mountain with my Fiancé or unsuccessfully training my aussie pup to sit. “
You’re offered a standard cup of coffee. How do you take it?
“With a small spoonful of raw sugar please! “
Picture this: you’re at your favorite local coffee shop. What do you order?
“Flat White, extra shot of espresso with oat milk. The lighter and more fruitful the roast the better.”
Speaking of: what’s your favorite local spot? (It’s OK if you can’t pick just one.)
“With how fast St. Pete is growing this changes all the time!! The most consistent one has got to be Black Crow Coffee. They just opened up a second location in an old screen printing shop not long ago. That being said my new love has been Blush, they always have a new monthly drink that’s super unique. “
Are you big on seasonal drinks? What’s your favorite? (We won’t judge if it’s a pumpkin spice latte.)
“Whatever is new and unique! This month Blush has a brown sugar-sage latte that’s the best fall drink I’ve had in awhile (the PSL has nothing on this). Over the summer I had a matcha latte with white espresso at the Blend that was perfectly light and to die for though. Highly recommend. “
Who’s one person, living or dead, who you’d love to grab a cup of coffee with?
“There’s so many! But off the top of my head either Walt Disney or George Lucas, both for very similar reasons. At their height they were both so incredibly creative and ahead of their time. They had to completely revolutionize their industries just to get their ideas out there and through a lot of failure they kept grinding and made it happen. I’d love to pick their brains.”
